Who We Are
Buitenhuis Building and Design (BB&D) is a multi-generational company that has been in the lakeshore area for over 30 years. At the end of the day we believe in one thing, and one thing only – ultimate client satisfaction. We pride ourselves on three things that we consider cornerstones of our Company’s philosophy: communication, craftsmanship and using only the highest quality materials available.

We have a complete understanding of the entire construction process – not just a portion of the process.
- Site development and selection. The chosen piece of property must work with the desired home plan.
- Design process. The home must meet the needs of the family or individual and “fit” the land.
- Material selection. The home will only be as good as the materials in it. Sub-contractor management. We have been in the area over 30 years and we know who the good contractors are.
- Quality control and customer service. “Ultimate client satisfaction” has been a cornerstone of our company for over 30 years. We do what it takes to accomplish this.
